The Future of Unified Messaging and Streaming with Apache Pulsar

Nowadays, companies thrive on data insights and data-driven strategies. Unified messaging and streaming are in high demand. Yahoo! launched Pulsar with the goal of building a global, geo-replicated infrastructure to handle the company’s messaging needs. As the need to process both business events (such as payment requests and billing requests) and operational events grew, Yahoo! developed a truly unified platform for handling all in-motion data. As a result, Apache Pulsar was born. Jia Zhai will speak about unified messaging and streaming, how Pulsar helps companies achieve this vision, and what the future looks like for Pulsar.
