Pulsar + Flink + Camel: How Vertice Built its CMDB-based Real-time Data platform

Configuration Management Databases (CMDB) are essential to IT infrastructure operations. How to quickly concert configuration data to business values? How can we extend the potential of CMDB to the maximum to make sure the IT infrastructure and business can grow together? These are some of the long-term challenges facing us today. Currently, CMDB-based platforms are real-time, highly automatic, and scalable. These features also mean higher standards as we select our technologies to solve existing problems.
Our team built a real-time CMDB platform using Apache Pulsar, Apache Flink, and Camel. We are using Pulsar as its message bus due to its excellent messaging capabilities. It works perfectly with Flink in batch processing and streaming. In this speech, I will introduce our experience in building a real-time resource data platform.
