Intuit operates a distributed, multi-region,multi-tenant messaging platform and offers it as a PAAS(platform as a service) to internal dev teams to fulfill their messaging needs and eventing use-cases. Like any other big enterprise, Intuit landscape is full of services that vary in complexity and criticality. We often categorize them into Tier-1, Tier-2… Tier-N. Tier-1 and Tier-2 non-functional needs such as High Availability, Fault tolerance, Resilience vary fromTier-3/Tier-4. Being a platform, our vision is to hit a sweet spot that elegantly manages high availability, resilience, cost and performance, at the same time giving maximum control and flexibility to dev teams.

My team is responsible for PAAS(Platform As A Service) built using Apache Pulsar. I have previously worked at StockX, AWS, Amazon and have close to 20 years experience in Software Engineering and Distributed systems domain.
