Attentive's Journey From Kinesis to Pulsar

Between June 2022 and July 2023 Attentive completed the migration of hundreds of data streams and dozens of services from AWS kinesis to Apache Pulsar. In this talk, we will share our reasons for considering alternatives to Kinesis, how Pulsar fit within our vision and needs for a messaging system, how we successfully completed the migration without data loss, and the road ahead.
