Training Modules:
- Kafka Protocol Essentials (~2 hours): Experience the ONE StreamNative Platform’s support for the Kafka protocol, including publishing/consuming messages, working with schema registries, and configuring Kafka clients for multi-tenancy and connectors.
- Pulsar Client Fundamentals (~2 hours): Explore Pulsar’s Java Client, focusing on messaging and streaming use cases. Learn about subscription types, topic partitioning, delayed messages, dead letter queues, Table View, and geo-replication.
- StreamNative+AI (~2 hours): Deploy Python Pulsar Functions to transform unstructured data into embeddings with OpenAI API, load them into a vector database, and enable Lakehouse Storage for Databricks integration. Discover how to utilize Foundation Models with Amazon Bedrock APIs.
Prerequisites:
- Experience: At least one year of coding experience—no prior knowledge of Pulsar, Kafka, or AI needed.
- Tools: Java and Python development environments, plus the ability to install CLI tools for the ONE StreamNative Platform. Setup instructions will be provided before the training.
