Powering Newland Billing System with Apache Pulsar

Newland software builds business support system for telecom operators. Previously, we adopted Apache Kafka, RocketMQ in our business, and found that those MQs hardly meet our requirements. When we met Apache Pulsar, we found it was an ideal solution for us. Apache Pulsar has multi-layer and segment-centric architecture and supports geo-replication. We can query data with PulsarSQL, and create complex processing logic without deploying other systems with Pulsar Functions.
In this talk, I will share how Apache Pulsar powers Newland Billing System, the architecuture, and how we optimize it.
